Prolific UK based songwriter Rich Ragany has written, recorded and released 3 full length albums in the last three years alone with London power-pop combo Role Models. 2015’s “The Go-To Guy”, 2016’s “Forest Lawn” and 2017’s “Dance Moves” were all wonderfully received and reviewed throughout Europe and America with “Dance Moves” making UK’s Vive Le Rock Magazine’s top 50 albums of the year at number 25. He’s shared stages on tour and one night stands with the likes of Michael Monroe, Scott Sorry and Ginger Wildheart. Now the frontman has recorded his first solo album, “Like We’ll Never Make It”

There are some great people on board with him … Fellow guitarist Gaff (Glitterati, Dedwardians), Andy Brook on piano, vocals, producer (Shush and celebrated producer with Status Quo amongst others), Ricky McGuire on bass (UK Subs, The Men They Couldn’t Hang), Kris Rodgers on keys (Scott Sorry Band), Kit Swing (Mallory Knox) on backing vocals and Simon Maxwell (The Yo-Yos, Role Models) on drums. The band got on so well that they are now a solidified live unit with an aim at making it a going concern on stages throughout the UK

Having supported The Lemonheads at Kentish Town Forum they have also been chosen as BBC artist of the month and track of the week distinction and have live sessions recorded for broadcast.

In Ragany’s own words, “The album’s character can be described in a couple of lines from the tracks “Lose With Me” and “Scotty Thompson” respectively – “The edge of the heart of the night… ill lit corridors into the light” and “All my regrets burn like a cigarette”. Songs that celebrate life, celebrate the mistakes – the mistakes that lead to a life fully lived. Fuck the regrets. Keep moving… keep doing… like we’ll never make it. Put your heart into today. It’s not preaching or pretending I know better. This is a reminder for me as well.”

“Rags has shone his light into corners of music that can often be dark and cold but not this. Warm, engaging, uplifting and without a doubt his finest work so far.” – RPM News

“…you’re in the capable hands of one of the country’s most engaging frontmen. A unique, hitherto unimaginable combination of David Lee Roth and Greg Dulli, has become legendary” – Vive Le Rock Magazine
